The Respirex WorkMaster™ Class 2 Dielectric Boots are purpose-built for environments where both AC and DC electrical hazards are present—such as solar panel cleaning, rooftop maintenance, and work near power lines.

 Certified to EN 50321-1:2018 Class 2, these dielectric boots provide insulation for live working up to ~17 kV AC, with every pair individually tested at 20 kV AC. For photovoltaic applications, optional testing demonstrates dielectric withstand performance at 40 kV DC, offering added assurance when working with PV strings and battery systems.

Arc-flash performance testing has been conducted using ASTM F2621 at 40 cal/cm², confirming material behavior under arc exposure (note: there is currently no formal footwear arc-rating standard). Beyond electrical protection, the WorkMaster™ Class 2 boots deliver robust PPE performance: a vulcanized SR slip-resistant sole for grip in wet or oily conditions, resistance to heat (HRO 300 °C), cold (CI), fuel, and oil, plus an integral 200 J steel toe cap. Each pair is CE-marked with year/date of manufacture and fully REACH compliant.
