This mixed bed deionization resin is a 50:50 volumetric blend of hydrogen-form strong acid cation resin and hydroxide-form Type 1 strong base anion resin. It is intended for general-purpose deionization applications where a pH-balanced mixed bed is not required, including spot-free rinsing, demineralization, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). The resin performs well in high-alkalinity water and is supplied as spherical styrene/DVB beads for use in refillable DI tanks and other deionization systems.
