ProTool Carbon Pre-Filter - 4.5"x10"

This 4.5" x 10" carbon block filter cartridge is designed for use in standard 4.5" x 10" filter housings. Constructed from mineral-based activated carbon, it provides 5 micron nominal filtration while reducing free chlorine, trihalomethanes (THMs), organic chemicals, taste, and odor. Commonly installed as a pre-filter before an RO membrane to reduce chlorine exposure that can shorten membrane service life. The cartridge should be flushed for 5 minutes prior to use. Suitable for residential, commercial, or industrial water filtration systems.
